The FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) has released a digital age verification calendar and it is currently being mailed out to retailers across the U.S. The digital calendar is free and will be available for ordering in a few weeks directly from the CTP’s Exchange Lab.
The digital calendar allows retails to set the appropriate minimum age for their location, as many cities and states have chosen to increase the minimum purchase for tobacco and vaping products beyond the federally mandated minimum age of 18. This digital calendar will replace the paper FDA calendars that were initially distributed through the “This is Our Watch” program.
