Could we be uncovering the “smoking gun” when it comes to nanny state mentality? Maybe this is just the beginning of more overreach by like-minded officials with possibilities of attempting to spread their poisoning of adult freedoms into other circles? It started “in the name of protecting the children”, but where could this turn next?
Could it be eyeing the gun community as its next target in the name of “harm reduction”? That could be a possibility for those in Knox County, Ohio.
Mount Vernon News is reporting that Knox County Commissioner Julie Miller informed the health board that she is planning development on a position for vaping and gun violence. The position will need health board consideration and Miller will have “something for them to consider” within a month or so.
A gun violence statement would be aimed at how its impact can be reduced, as part of what Miller says is “a Harm Reduction Program” that is on the way.
Miller did not disclose details but did indicate how important words will be in “crafting a palatable statement”.
